Childcare Sufficiency Assessment
Aims: The Early Years and Childcare Service is responsible for making sure that there is enough childcare in Worcestershire to meet the needs of parents.
As part of this statutory duty, the service must carry out a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment.
The Childcare Sufficiency Assessment details the supply of childcare across Worcestershire and compares this to the demand for childcare from parents and carers. This process helps to identify any gaps in the childcare market and makes recommendations for how to close these gaps.
