Withdrawal Of Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) |
 |
27 Jan 2012 |
16 Mar 2012 |
|
Description
The Local Authority (LA) has been reviewing the current funding arrangements and provision at schools that have Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) to support groups of children with statements of special educational needs. One outcome of the review is that those ARPS where the number of children being supported is relatively low will find it difficult to sustain effective provision. There have been detailed discussions with the schools affected and by the Schools Forum. The LA now wishes to consult on a proposal to withdraw ARPs from Bierton CE Combined, Chepping View and Iver Heath Junior Schools and would welcome views and comments. Description
Being able to access key services and facilities is a fundamental part of individual, family and community well-being. The elderly, children, young people and disabled people are all susceptible to isolation within our communities due to limited access to goods, services and key destinations. The Travel Bucks Strategy details how accessible transport options will be provided for residents living in Buckinghamshire with reduced budgets, smarter partnership working and development of an innovative combination of core bus services and community led transport solutions.
We recommend you have the strategy paper to hand when completing the consultation, which can be downloaded here.

Beaconsfield New Town Parking Proposals 2012 |
 |
21 Jan 2012 |
03 Mar 2012 |
|
Description
Beaconsfield Town Council and the local residents raised a number of concerns regarding parking in Beaconsfield New Town. The Beaconsfield Forum agreed to allocate some of its funding to address parking in the area. They presented a survey to Buckinghamshire County Council (BCC) which enabled a list of roads to be prioritised.
BCC officers have now completed their initial site visits to observe the current parking situation and draft proposals. The purpose of the exhibition on the 21st January 2012 is to mark the start of an informal consultation of initial proposals, and agree what should be progressed to the next formal consultation stage. Your feedback is appreciated as it will be essential to progressing to the next stage.
